Janette is that girl that we all seem to go to for advice for just about everything. Fashion, trends, travel, significant others…the list goes on. And now that she is a mommy, she already seems to have that area covered as well (and we all knew she would). Janette has been everyone’s right hand girl for decades now – starting off doing production work in Hollywood, working on films such as Constantine, I Am Legend, Water for Elephants and working with amazing creatives like director Francis Lawrence. And Hollywood seems to have prepared her for being a mommy – she equates motherhood to film production as similar, but with a lot less whining. LA-based Janette is on top of all things new, exciting and fancy – not just for our kids, but for us too. And we are thrilled to have her.

Contributing Writer, Eric Gasser

My days are typical of any SAH (Stay At Home).  I’m up at 6.30am-ish brushing my teeth and attempting some sort of exercise. I shower as “Mooooom!” echoes down the hall, before pulling on my clothes while at the same time rushing my son to the potty. A mild breakdown occurs (over not wanting to eat breakfast or wash his hands) while somehow coffee is magically made. The dogs charge through the home with a favorite toy in their jaws and the phone starts ringing. I inhale a banana while feeding and locking the dogs outside just as my son’s breakfast hits the floor. Back upstairs and out of the PJ’s, correct the dogs for barking at the neighbors, change the laundry over from the day before and stop my child from locking me out of the bathroom.  Pack up the chariot and double check my calendar for the morning right before meeting up with friends to walk the kids to school. By now its 7:55am and this Dad is ready for the day’s adventure to begin. My name is Eric Gasser and I am a SAHD. My life before this consisted of a long career in the hotel industry – beginning in Sonoma and venturing into L.A., San Francisco, San Mateo and Las Vegas. During my time with hoteliers, I earned several awards including Chairman’s Circle, Salesperson of the Year and Highest Revenue Generator while also becoming a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP). And while none of this could have ever prepared me for my current career as SAHD, it is my hope that I better prepare you for travels and adventures with your kids.

Paige Angel, Fashion Contributor

Paige lives in Dallas with her husband, Martin and 3-year-old daughter, Abby.  Prior to having her little girl, she worked full time in trust and estate planning.  And while Paige may know a lot about financial assets and mommying, she also knows a thing or two about fashion, and will be serving as Luxe Baby’s chief Style Contributor. She vows to keep us all fashionable in our travels around the globe – assembling outfits for us that will look amazing – even with jelly on them.

Nikki Stinson, Contributing Writer
After 5 years of working as Partner and Art Director for JWT and 6 years as President and Creative Director of her own advertising agency, Nikki decided it was time to leave the hectic, fast-paced life of advertising and become a mom. Was she in for a surprise.  Her role as CEO of the household may have excluded those bothersome deadlines, but she quickly found that the headaches and demanding customers still exist. Despite her stocked cabinet of Motrin and earplugs, she loves taking care of her son Noah, her daughters Stella and Opal and her husband, Matt. She is a veteran mommy traveler and has vowed to make it easier for the rest of us with Luxe Baby. She promises.

Amy, at a whopping 4 feet 11 inches, she is the tiniest member of Luxe Baby, but don’t be fooled. In that tiny package is one savvy, sophisticated, super-mommy. Amy is a full-time mom and full-time volunteer coordinator for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure™. And in all of her free time (free time??), she travels the globe in style with her husband Jamie, her two-year old son, Brooks and their best doggie, Newton.  Amy is excited to contribute her wit and wisdom to Luxe Baby – and we are lucky to have her!
